Declaire Associates is an executive and business coaching company founded in 2005 in Chicago, and is affiliated with a network of professional practitioners, experts and leaders.

 
CATHY ARNDT CARMODY
Founder Cathy Arndt Carmody has coached in a variety of industries and with people and teams from many cultures. Her academic background in social sciences and her Kellogg MBA give her a breadth of knowledge. Her professional experience has been with world class companies in health care, pharmaceuticals / biotechnology, food, and manufacturing environments. Her versatility has given her a blend of expertise few coaches have: strategic change management, leadership and organization development and consulting, knowledge management, and sales. She is fascinated by neuroscience and how its findings impact our thinking about leadership, learning, change, certainty, and interdependence.

OUR PHILOSOPHY
Our philosophy is that we ensure a sustainable world by working together as a community of human beings to render business a fulfilling (ad)venture. Our focus is developing clients’ abilities to balance their drive for independence with their thirst for belonging and interacting with others, whether as part of a large company, a non-profit organization, family, or sports team. OUR NAME
“Claire” = clear
“Declare” = to make known
The name Declaire derives from a combination of the French word “claire,” meaning “clear” and the word “declare”, meaning “to make known.” When you define your purpose and declare your possibilities, you are more likely to generate coordinated action with others in support of your project (you!).
